Welcome, to the website put together by great people with a common goal.
I am Mark Milligan, and this site is dedicated to finding my brother, Harry Dennis Milligan, who disappeared on July 1st, 1984.
Let me explain who my Brother was. He was one of the kindest souls, very intelligent, and a true people loving person that had the world at his fingertips. He was the big Brother that everyone wishes they had. We spent every day together growing up on farm and learning to entertain ourselves by playing sports together, by wrestling in the dirt, playing with Hot Wheels under the front porch in the dirt. We spent countless hours over the hill along the creek doing what young brothers due that drives a mother crazy.
We grew up together and began to become men, as much as neither of us wanted to. We joined the Marines and learned real fast how to become men, but dam it made our dad proud. We then started to journey off into life with him being in the Marine reserves and me on active duty. He attended college at Northeast Missouri State in Kirksville and spent a lot of his time back home in Albia, Iowa, playing softball with his friends and doing what 21 year olds do.
Then on June 30, 1984, he went out on the town...spent time with friends...played cards...won some money...reportedly rode around with friends, and was dropped off at is car near the library, in the vicinity of he bar. He was reported to have been seen getting in his car - a 1977 Grand Prix - and leaving the area on the early morning hours of July 1, 1984, never to be seen or heard from again.
That is the story of my BROTHER……..HARRY DENNIS MILLIGAN….
